I Did It!

As you can tell from the pictures above, I chopped off my locks. Why? 'Cause I'm about to graduate and need to find work. I used to fight the whole hair/employment issue; after all, length has nothing to do with performance.

Did it work? You bet. I went in for an interview at White Cloud/Caveat Press yesterday, and got the job! Of course, my background and attitude may have had some influence on their decision, too. I start monday as an employee, versus the paid internship I thought they wanted. I'm super excited about getting to work there. I'll be doing a bit of everything: shipping and receiving, copyediting, marketing. Thanks Gary, Kait, Bill, and most importantly, Mada Morgan for believing in me and giving me the lead.

It took me all day to settle down. Now, I can focus on writing more of my novella...
