Double Feature

In yesterday's post, I p.s.ed a mention of me in the latest volume of Writer's Digest (July 2005). This morning, I discovered a second entry in the "InkWell" section, under "Conversation."

Page 6 discusses my discontent with back covers of books that contain celebrity blurbs. For any who may read the editorial, remember I was overstating somewhat. I believe some celebrity blurbs raise the value of a book, especially if I like the source of accreditation; however, a book with celebrity blurbs only loses credibility.

Page 11 was my response to the April "Conversation": "Which grammar rules do you feel are out of date, or that no one (except editors) adhere to?" You'll have to read my comment there, or add to the online conversation.
